Realmente me ha costado no clasificar esto como una chorrada de mi blog. Se salva por la gracia que me hace y por que lo veo, como poco, original como trabajito para un labo friki:

Bueno, un poco de publicidad totalmente off-topic:

No, no es un tributo postumo a Noriyuki “Pat” Morita. La gente que visite directamente este mi humilde blog quizás haya recibido una viso de su navegador sobre la conveniencia de instalar fuentes asiáticas, o puede que se haya percatado de la presencia de unos curiosos simbolitos (o interrogaciones/cuadrados, según el caso) en la sección de enlaces. El contenido de ambas páginas es idéntico, y el estilo (todavía wip) similar. En ambos casos, los blogs son “too cool for IE”, cosa que me gustaría “corregir” en algún momento… pero no hay prisas. En cuanto al contenido en sí, es sencillo de explicar: son los apuntes/notas más significativos en mi descenso hacia la locura, o, lo que es lo mismo, en mis pesquisas sobre el idioma nipón. Como dejo claro desde el primer momento, no es un blog didáctico, ni aspira a serlo, aunque a veces puede que llegue a parecerlo. Y, para hacerlo todavía más particular (y/o absurdo), en principio quiero hacerlo en inglés.

Pues eso, si todavía no he asustado al personal, os invito a que le echéis un vistazo y me comentéis lo que os parezca oportuno.

En fin, para los que tengan curiosidad, hace ya tiempo posteé el tributo al “St. Anger”, resaltando los atributos más significativos del disco de Metallica [wiki]. Y me da a mí que ni con sólos arreglan un disco así. En todo caso conozco gente a la que le gusta, así que algo tendrá.

A la presencia de Emperor en el W:O:A se unirá la de Celtic Frost [wiki]. Es probable que en su actuación se pueda escuchar nuevo material: Los suizos están trabajando en el lanzamiento de su primer disco de estudio en 15 años (desde el “Vanity/Nemesis” en el 90), que saldrá a la venta previsiblemente a principios del próximo año, con el título (provisional) “Dark Matter Manifest”. El album será el producto de unos tres años y medio de composición y grabación, producido en su mayor parte por el propio grupo, con la colaboración del multifacético Peter Tägtgren.

La página alemana de Yahoo! Music dispone del último video de Motörhead [wiki], “Whorehouse Blues”, en el que figura, entre otras damas, la cantante de Meldrum, Moa Holmsten. Como ya mencioné en mi comentario sobre el concierto de Black Label Society, Meldrum hizo de teloneros para el grupo de Lemmy, y, dada la afición confesa de este último a las mujeres, no me extraña que mantuviese el contacto al menos con la señorita Holmsten. Para quien tenga interés en identificarla, es la dama agarrada al brazo izquierdo de Lemmy en su entrada al club donde se pueden ver algunos imitadores de personajes famosos.

En todo caso, a lo que iba, el video se puede encontrar haciendo una búsqueda de los videos de Motörhead en la página anteriormente citada.

The Rainbow concert in Munich, Germany, 1977, one of the most eagerly awaited releases ever, is being prepared for official release at last. This is the only known concert by the Blackmore / Powell / Dio incarnation to be filmed in full. It will appear first in Japan, probably as a two single-layer disc NTSC set. Contrary to the impression given in some news sources, it WILL then appear in the rest of the world early in 2006 but as a single disc dual layer release. The European edition will contain an extra commentary, written by Rainbow biographer Roy Davies, extra packaging, etc. As well as the full concert (including guitar demolition and some great shots of the famous electronic rainbow), there are interviews, extra Rainbow promos etc. This show has been bootlegged extensively in a number of formats, but this new release will be pristine quality with remastered audio etc. Those who have seen the test copy say its excellent. HELLOWEEN: Early Albums To Be Reissued

HELLOWEEN‘s entire pre-Nuclear Blast catalog will reportedy be reissued via Sanctuary during 2006. The albums will apparently be remastered and will contain bonus tracks, including b-sides and other rarities, the details of which have yet to be revealed.

The following albums will be re-released on January 30, 2006:

• “Walls of Jericho” (1985) (double CD)
• “Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I” (1987) (single CD)
• “Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II” (1988) (double CD)
• “Pink Bubbles Go Ape” (1991) (single CD)

HELLOWEEN‘s latest album, “Keeper of the Seven Keys – The Legacy”, is available now on SPV Records. The lineup on the record includes singer Andi Deris, guitarists Michael Weikath and Sascha Gerstner, bassist Markus Großkopf and drummer Dani Löble (ex-RAWHEAD REXX). Produced by Charlie Bauerfeind (BLIND GUARDIAN, HALFORD, RAGE), “Keeper of the Seven Keys – The Legacy” was released as a high-quality digipack with six flaps.

El “Walls Of Jericho” es uno de los discos de los que me hubiese gustado hablar (quizás lo haga más adelante). Sé que soy un poco heterodoxo, pero me gusta más que los “Keeper Of The Seven Keys”. De hecho, la parte que más me gusta del disco es la más antigua, la que se corresponde con el mini LP original de Helloween [wiki] (incluso prefiero en muchos aspectos la voz de Kai Hansen sobre la de Michael Kiske). A pesar de tener ya el disco con esas canciones (y canciones del EP “Judas”), le echaré un ojo a la versión remasterizada. Siendo un CD doble, espero que traiga más contenidos que alguna versión en directo. Con todo, me parece que simplemente es un producto para intentar aliviar la precaria situación de Sanctuary [wiki].

In Flames album to include bonus

The forthcoming In Flames album – Come Clarity – will include a free a bonus DVD featuring the band performing the album in full in a rehearsal room, akin to what Metallica did with initial versions of their St Anger album.

In addition, one of the album’s songs – Dead End – features the vocals of Swedish singer songwriter Lisa Miskovsky.

The album will see a February 3 release next year in Europe through Nuclear Blast.
