Ya que los dos últimos días he estado sacando material de Little Hokum Rag, hoy toca darle el crédito que se merece. El sitio en cuestión es el blog de Amy Crehore, una pintora estadounidense con un gusto realmente interesante, a pesar de ciertas debilidades ;P.
En sus obras hay numerosas referencias musicales, siendo la más evidente la proliferación de guitarras y similares en sus pinturas. Estos instrumentos son elementos importantes en las composiciones y la creadora hace notar el detalle que presta en este aspecto, como se puede constatar en este post referente a un boceto de uno de sus dibujos. Buscar “guitar” en su blog también da más de un resultado interesante.
A modo de muestra del arte de Amy Crehore, aquí dejo el boceto citado junto a (lo que parece ser) la pintura final, sacada de aquí:

As you may see from recent posts on my blog, I've been borrowing content from your blog (always mentioning the source, of course), so I thought it was only fair to do a post about the blog itself, too.
As for the gender issue, I'm afraid your translation was not accurate. Having browsed through ALL your posts and part of your website, I have seen some of your pictures. I may not be too sharp, but it didn't take me that long to realize you were a woman ;P.
It was my pleasure finding out about you and your art, and writing a little about it, and it is me who must thank you for your brilliant work. Please, keep it up!
